Kunstenaar Marieke Warmelink is dit jaar per ongeluk zélf Koning geworden en heeft een nieuwe vorm van bestuur bedacht die veel leuker is dan de huidge monarchie. Aangezien dit jou ook persoonlijk aangaat word je uitgenodigd op het koninklijke kantoor om te horen wat Zijne Majesteit zoal in petto heeft! Kom langs voor een borrel en een goed gesprek. Jouw aanwezigheid is van groot belang voor de toekomst van Nederland!
De Koning deelt graag de smaakmakende anekdotes, verrassende gedachtewisselingen en nooit eerder getoonde videofragmenten over het nieuwe koningschap die u zeker niet had willen missen.
Deze voorstelling is een installatie die tot leven komt; een kijkje in de werkkamer van een kunstenaar én Koning. Een ongekende kans om de tot nu toe verborgen geheimen te ontdekken. De nieuwe Koning heeft zich laten inspireren door het niet-weten, het niet-meetbare en het inefficiëntie. Het waren juist deze eigenschappen die de Koning nieuwe inzichten gaven voor een vorm van leiderschap die beter past bij deze tijd.

Artist Marieke Warmelink became King accidentally this year and a new form of government devised which is much more fun than the current monarchy. Since this also affects you personally, you are invited to the royal office to hear what Her Majesty has in mind for you! Stop by for a drink and a chat. Your presence is very important for the future of the Netherlands!
The King likes to share its vociferous anecdotes, surprising exchanges and never-seen video clips about the new monarchy that you certainly do not want to miss.
This performance is a lively installation; a peek into the office of an artist and King. An unprecedented opportunity to explore the hidden secrets of the monarchy. The new King was inspired by the unknown, the non-measurable and inefficiency. It was these qualities which gave the King new insights into a form of leadership which fits the time we live in much better.
